And get rid of the central heating. No one used to have it when I was a lad. The whole family used to sit round the coal fire in the front room and go to bed with a hot water bottle.

Colds, flus were very rare as I remember.

When I was a young lad (no it was not that long ago) we did not have central heating, fires, double glazing or any thing else to make the house warmer. It's still beyond me why Ramsgate fans are so obsessed with this forum anyway, but free speach and all that ... up to a point and whatever excuse you give after the event I felt what you said to be offensive, given the lack of any other context.
