Was anxious before this game?season start, but came away feeling a little bit positive from what was on display.

Ryan Peters was absolute quality

Tredwell look confident

stubbs was like a little terrier - didnt give up

Pat mullins wont be rushed and controlled his area well

I think maybe the pairing of louis smith and heath at the back would reap dividends, and Curis..... looked confident in the same position, so maybe hard choices to make there for the management. Overall I thought we tried too hard the first half but played the better football. The second half was where the lads fitness and quality shone thru as we dominated and looked extremely comfortable with the ball. However, there are sterner tests to come and I hope BA can maybe establish a nucleus with the more promising players. Overall Im quietly impressed.

And I can confirm that when sigings are made and completed we will be making the annoucements through the proper official channels and not before. (Just look at Wealdstone, Dartford and Rob Haworth to see why we take this approach.) I can also confirm that a lot of what people put on this message board as it relates to sigings and the circumstances surrounding them is often inacurate or just simply wrong.
