we all may dislike JP to an extent but he`s got Dover on the up , playing good friendlies against the right teams and pulling in the crowds is the right way to go . If i knew that the team i surported was playing a quality side i would`nt mind paying abit more to get in and because we would all pay that bit more thats more for the club to add to the budget . Dovers result last night was a warning to all they mean bussiness this yr thats why i think they will win the league this season .

 

We are where Dover were a couple of seasons ago so there is a big void between us but as the games go on hopefully we can grow in stature and be where Dover are now in a season or two . Margate must publicise there games more though and bring back the lost surport . Dartford drew in 2000 people last night for there game with Charlton , they lost on the pitch but won on the terreces , this is what we need to be doing . Up the Gate .

There was about 50 people there when i arrived at 8.30 and about 100-150 when i left half an hour later, including Big Brothers Nasty Nick!!!! My tickets are Upper Compton. Folkestone fans are not holding out much hope for this season, one even sarcastically mentioned looking forward to the Kent League!!

Got my tickets for Lords on Sunday during the Yorkshire game. No queue. Lower Compton. Also got tickets for the Twenty20 final. The joys of being a member. Repeat of our Beckenham performance against Essex would be nice.
