Yep. If they "support" Liverpool (or Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Man Utd or even Hull City) and live in Ricay but the only time we'll ever see them at New Lodge is in their Prem League colours to try and grab an autograph off a reserve/squad player for their team - let's fleece 'em ! MUPPETS !!! It would be nice to think that those extra 300 or so that turned up last Saturday would be so impressed by BTFC that they tore up their season tickets for Upton Park and became Blues regulars, but it's not going to happen is it, really ? We might just see them for 90 mins when we draw Southend in the FA Cup of course...

Well, IMO, the "so called" Premier Clubs are doing themselves no favours with the price they charge for admission. And as for the media, Sky and BBC, they're slowly killing the game with exposure and all this bollox that the over paid idiots are something special.

 

Even though money does play a part at our level, I think the majority of Non League players do have more heart and honesty when it comes to "supporting" a club (it can't be just limited to those Billericay players that have stayed he over the past three or four seasons, surely?).

 

Attitude...that is the word I'm looking for. For example Chris Whelpdale...Jamie Dormer, Leon Hunter, Joe Flack, Macca, Paul Shave...the list goes on...
