For anyone who is interested-which is probably not many-he did not make the cut at cheltenham, and i believe played in wellings friendly at dover last weekend.Not signed by them as yet though.

maybe he should give BA a ring

i went to the bath v welling game today.

 

Welling were outstanding-quality movement and passing,and were the better side in every dept from the first minute (a bit frightening that Dover did ok against them )I've always said Ryman is much the same as conf south-but today, Welling were a class above

 

First martin goal-a typical low shot from just inside box.

Second two goals were both free kicks from distance-low hard shots-last one from about 28 yards out and went like a bullet

(goalie ought to have saved one)

 

frankly- you had to ask why jackson was taking most of our powder puff free kicks when martin could strike the ball like that.

Apart from scoring a hat trick-martin played very well-

 

4th Welling goal was scored by Sol Pinnock-another free kick into top corner from even further out.

Now we thought we had Sol Pinnock trialling with us.

There are either 2 Sol Pinnocks ,or i can assure you that the Welling Sol Pinock is not the same guy with the dreadlocks who trialled for Margate at Whitstable and Thamesmead.
