Woking are curently 3-0 up just before half time and totally in control of the game.

No Eddie Denton or no Troy Townsend to manage the side, and Woking, fielding a mixed line up to the one expected (full first team was expected), could have scored double figures in the first half.

 

Dominique was at fault for the second goal of the evening, and with Slough not having a recognized centre back in the side, the same story, all Woking pressure, is expected in the second half.

Final score 4-0,CJ was probably the best man on the pitch for slough and he only came on for 15 mins.

In fairness they had Reeks, Bayes, Nade, clark, allman and another striker who were all first team players as well as others on the fringes. We had Dom in goal and Williams and the rest were trialists - not surprising we lost really.

Trialists for the last week of the season...............uh!

The madness continues! And the manager possibly leaving, wot effing good are trialists when we dont know weather we will have a club or a new manager next season?

Trialists as opposed to what? There was an important reserves game on Wednesday in a reserves cup semi-final and the plan was to use the more important players in that game rather than tire them out in a meaningless League game.

 

Admittedly though, we need a set reserve side next year if we are going to bother with it full of young local lads who will want to break into the first team and make an impression on the side, not just a totally different bunch of triallists for each game as we've seen this season. It is a great opportunity to see triallists play, but only one or two a game, not sixes and sevens as we've seen this year.
