Well, we'd have to get the proposal through the Voting Committee - and as I understand it, from The Rules, the Operator is impregnable. But what you say is spot-on, for me at least. I can say what I want on here. I could not say a lot of this on MyFC - I'd be on a charge grin

I think the operator's contract lasts for 50 years or something like that, so I don't think it's possible.

no you weren't and you know it and you should apologise as you were clearly wrong and are trying to wriggle out of it.....you were asleep on duty and your masters will be most upset...bolt

Blimey - who signed that agreement then (I wonder!!)

Bearing in mind, if renewals don't reach a viable amount, the operator can bugger off and say its not worth it!! And like someone mentioned on another thread - MyFC NEED the operator to run voting, communication etc... "short and curlies" & "gotcha by the" springs to mind...

I was banned, no name given in the PM i recieved and i was asked to apologise or i wouldn't get back on the site.
Now i will not say sorry for speaking the truth, and i paid for access to the site which has been denied me. No 48 hour ban for me!
Is that the way to run a fan owned club? Where a dissenting voice gets banned, whatever happened to free speech.
MYFC ha ha I can't wait untill feb and 25.000 dont renew!

It's this sort of comment that makes me think that by losing you we haven't actually lost anything.

Face facts, thats what will happen. I don't remember getting personel just stating an opinion. An opinion that got me banned, its a fact that the operator is banning people for having an opinon of their own. Is that what people really want?
20.000 + people signed up for MYFC before they knew what team would be picked, let me hazard a wild guess not one an Ebbsfleet fan. You all signed up after, so PTT would not be on your agenda which i fully understand.
But the vast majority are losing interest as they can see the operator makes excuse after excuse. They won't renew and you know it.

Alright okay, you may be right but you have made it perfectly clear that you got banned for simply disagreeing with the operator.

 

Do you think that me and the operator have ever fallen out? Do you that I mince my words and worry about not pissing anyone of for fear of getting banned?

 

Now either I wasn't banned back then because I was either regarded as being too much of an annoying prick and the operator didn't want to stir up too much trouble with an original fan and they knew that I would have made a lot of noise or what I did wasn't actually wrong.

 

I'm hearing an awful lot about people being banned for "doing nothing" but I've done some pretty bad stuff on there and nothing has ever happened.

What your hearing is correct, people are getting banned, not the sheep of course just those who have real questions to ask. On a personal note i have got fed up with the greed of top flight football and looked around at my local non league teams with a view to giving one my support. I signed up for MYFC and went down to stonebridge road to see the team play. The trouble is the operator has given up on its promices, the concept of a club run by the fans and being different has been lost. The club itself had its debt cleared and is in a much better state now than before MYFC came along. That in itself is a godsend for the original fans and i'm glad that happened.
But what about the perspective new fans that bought into the idea, thousands feel let down by it all, they are the ones that will not renew, they see strongly worded votes in favour of what way the operator wants them to vote. I can see that, therefore so can others. The operator is weak thats plain to see, and the proof will be in the pudding come febuary. Ask yourself why hardly anyone votes, the answer will come at renewal time.
Its very easy to say you are better off than with the likes of me, i'm thick skinned i can take it, but the experience on the site is driving away people that want to support the club. Real football fans that wanted something different, thats why they signed up.

If they entered this venture to vote on the running of a club, why are not bothering??? whats the average percentage of voters? 5 maybe 8% tops about 12% lots of commitment not. The reason most joined is that they were hoping it was a club near them, as it's not they cannot be bothered, that's more like the truth I feel. not ptt. So being in control of peoples lively-hoods has no importance, its all about picking eleven player. how sad is that.

The experience put me off big time, Dartford now have my support.
But i will be at hayes lane on the 26th to watch the ksc final v the wands. I watched them in the play offs.
