Who will wear the captains armband this season???

Good to see a nearly full turn out for a Pre-season training match today at Canterbury between First teamers, Fringe players and Reserves.

Barry has the lads well organised and the pre season appears to be going well.

MOM for me today was Louis Smith, and has to be a candidate for the captains arm band.

Agree about Louis for Captain. At the end of last season the way he bossed the defence (including Trotty) was an example of his leadership.

I do not think it should be Louis.

let him concentrate on 'leading' the defence if we like-but his game is still developing so one step at a time imo.

 

It could hinder his defensive duties

Sorry but i cannot fully comment on my First team, as i have only seen them in a trial game once, and then not all players were available.

The players that stood out for me at the trial were

SCS,Bowles, Albrecht, Stokes, Louis Smith, Heath, Hammond, Robinson, Axon, Quain, Morris, Pratt, and the 2 blond guys both midfielders 1 tall and 1 stocky (sorry didn't catch their names).

Think capitains armband should be given to Rob Butler as he sems to know all that is going on with the club on and off the field
