54 games this season

Recommended Posts

.....yep, mad as a mad march hare from madchester! Missed just the one game when I threw a strop and decided to miss the Wivenhoe game! There are however two others I know of who are just as mad, and I do know of at least one person out there who has bagged the whole season, for the second season running. I shall keep there identity a secret for fear of the men in white coats coming to take 'em away!!!

Well done, that is some support.

I went to 32, (part timer!).

Bearing in mind I think we had two teams this year, for the first half of the season:

My favourite game: Grays (H) won 4-1 closely followed by Braintree in the Cup

Not so enjoyable game: Enfield (H) lost 1-0 (didn't go away to H&W in the cup)

Second half:

Favourite game: Canvey (H) won 2-1

Not so enjoyable game: Canvey (A) lost 3-0 closely followed by Aveley (A) (Enfield away wasn't to good either)

Yep, glory hunter here !!! Admit to missing 6 games this season. So outlay I reckon is - (just league games) won't talk about cup games.....

Admittance - should be £280 but cos Cvey are 9 Alders 8 Bratree 7.5 Hayes 8 (can't remember) it is probably 285 ish.

Beer on awaydays (heaven knows) - Progs home about 34 progs away..0 never buy one to put into their coffers - Coffee about 20.....Travel costs (dunno)......Has it all been worth it??? - YES YES YES... After all it could have be worse. We could have been born in Jon 'o Groats

Reckon outlay is down on last season despite going to twice as many games thorugh not having to put £20 petrol in tank to get to Billericay from Swindon! I reckon on an average spend of around £14-5 at a game including admission, a beer or 2 or 3 and a programme. Therefore I don't want to think about total spend!

Most enjoyable game? Not sure but defiantely the most memorable was beating Braintree in the cup. All those sendings off and some good goals mean that one will live in the memory long after the rest of the season has faded away!

missed about 6 games i think altho i may have been there but missed a few more due to drunkenness.

best result: ricay 2 canvey 1

worst result: havant 3 ricay 1

good efforts: bedford home league, thrashing purfleet 0-0 at their place, braintree cup, grays home league, sutton away league, st albans home league, hitchin away league (even tho we lost), 8-0 win home hampton league.

other not so good efforts:

hammered 1-1 at home by stortford, enfield home league, hampton away league (didnt go but remember the reports), aveley rugby conversion competition, canvey away (tho fully avenged)

best away visit this season: sutton for the result, bedford for the beer.

request for 2003-04 more talk about football less talk about all the other boollocks

see you saturday

cmon the blues

38 games for me I wont work out the cost in case my wife reads this!

Best has to be home to Canvey not just for the result which we would take any year but also the circumstances of our team.

Worst either Enfield or Ford Utd at home.

Beating Canvey which you did with much credibility under your circumstance manages to be first or second in almost everybody!s posting

How sad,Early season you showed real football potential, for some years you have showed real football potential, you are capable (early season) of profitable gates, you attracted solid well known close to top non-league performers to your side(early season to mid-term)

Where is the pressure from fans for year on year improvement and stability

So you beat Canvey?

the pressure has been on since we got back into the premier. calder has taken some terrible stick as has the peple who run the club. fansd have voted with there feet. shame as its those who are suffocating this club

Oi, I thought this thread was discussing our personal best and worst football matches.

I was enjoying this one until it turned around to more off the pitch comments.
