Not quite what I saw but then it is all about oppinions.

 

Canvey produced a resiliant display this evening, holding ("holding" for large periods we dominated) Southend United to a 0-0 draw. The Blues had the better of the first half, though were unable to breach the Canvey rearguard. The Gulls edged the second half with the introduction of Ian Luck and Leon Antoine up front, and had a goal by Luck disallowed with 15 minutes to go. After Southend missed a seemingly simple chance, Antoine almost one(won)the game with the last touch of the ball as his header sailed narrowly wide

We had our fair amount of chances though. Easily done enough for a result.

I think we were the better team for the majority of the match! Yes, they were a stronger side - but you would expect that from them. But we definately matched them the entire game and even played better than them at some points!

If you didn't know what the teams were, you wouldn't have been able to say who was the higher level team.

From where I was standing behind the goal, I could only imagine it was disallowed for Lucky pushing the defender away from the ball - Not that it was the right decision mind.

It was for a foul. Lucky did give the bloke a shove, so I didn't argue with it.

Didn't see us dominate the game at any point to be honest, but thought we out battled them.

 

As for Lucky's goal, I did feel it was a foul and didn't have any complaints.

Yeah, Lucky did push the guy, but not before getting shoved off the ball and obstructed himself. Thought a penalty might've been harsh on Southend, but have seen them given in competitive games.

watching the game back last night we completely dominated the second half. we had by far the greater possession and Southend only had 3 clips i would use as highlights (including the open goal miss) and we had 7. in the first half Southend had 5 we had 3

not sure if this one will be, it was much more of an experement for my new camera, work out filters and shutter speed and such like (plus most of the first half i had to film the tw@ts in the crowd rather than the game). if my new computer arrives this week i may do a couple of the firendlies but i dont think it will so probably wont start putting them online till the season starts
