ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AGENDA

Meeting to start at 1pm and end at 2.30pm Sunday 13 July 2008

1) Presentation OF Draft Accounts. Questions will be taken but as accounts are unaudited they will not be approved nor auditors appointed at this stage.

2) To record the appointment and nomination of Board Members.

3) Discussion of Board Statement, particularly issues raised for the upcoming year.

4) Proposal. That Myfootballclub Society agree to hold all future Special meetings, including Annual General Meetings on the Myfootballclub website only. Such meetings will require two weeks notice, with a full agenda published one week before the meetings start. The meeting will take place for one week followed by any necessary voting for a further week.

5) Subject to time, there will be a question and answer session between members and the board. It is possible that our new CEO will attend the meeting to answer questions too

I echo your hmmm UU, not just on item 1 that you have highlighted (although to have an AGM that does not have final audited accounts to approve is "unusual" to say the least),items 2 & 3 maybe acceptable, 4 I would not be happy with and under the circumstances making time for 5 would be a positive move. I am not a member of MyFC so do not know if the statutory notice period for members has been given before the e-announcement. I am a qualified accountant and understand company law but am willing to acknowledge that there may be other time limits for Industrial/Provident Societies such as MyFC in which I have very limited knowledge.

Even I didn't think you , of all people, would have the nerve to post that statement....................But on reflection, it is as true as anything else you have ever posted!

Well, I am a member and I can confirm that the AGM has been advertised for some weeks now. It is interesting of course about the accounts, as you say. But it was ever thus on MyFC ... "interesting" ... evil
