Bookham lost 1-3 to Sallanches France last Wednesday, cant tell you much about the game great set up for by all accounts and think Queenie might like to comment

A makeshift side put in a reasonable performance considering. 1-0 down at half time, pulled back to 1-1 and then had a blatent penalty disallowed, unfortunately a neutral ref wasn't appointed!! Sallanches then score 2 goals on the break in the final 10 as our 'trialist' keeper failed to cover his near post! Lack of a squad was the problem in the end as Sallanches were able to make plenty of changes at the break.

Game played in good spirits and a lovely spread and plenty of free beer after the game.

Is it Oakwood from Crawley?

 

Only they are playing their first x1 at Wanderers and their reserves are playing in a tourny at home according to their website.

 

is it a 1st xi friendly or u18s?

thanks jc, its a fair old way for them to come, I think they are intermediate level, two divs below the kent league that Croydon play in.

 

I wonder if the two dorkings and two oakwoods have all got the right teams and grounds for Saturday!

 

Could be a goalfest.

The coaches will already be booked for Westhumble, they'll turn up there and be told no you are playing Dorking FC.

 

Divert to Meadowbank, "no mate Dorking are playing at Reigate Grammar"

 

They will be in a real bad mood when they turn up at Woodhatch late, and its a scary place at the best of times.
