Fri 3pm Deadline - To use your MYFC PTT Vote

Recommended Posts

BustaGut, I for one wouldn't walk away from MyFC over PTT! It's far more than that. It's all about the prevailing culture. And I absolutely agree with what you say about people's livelihoods - which is why I would continue to give my financial support where I can, as I have done for the last 12 months. My argument is with MyFC, not the team.

Is that not throwing your toys out of the pram then? If you say you have no problem with the team, why take away your support for them?

No of course it isn't, BustaGut. The team won't mind if I'm there or not as someone else will be there now instead, in my place. I can support them without being there physically, as many people do in MyFC. I have my reasons.

I think we have all been caught up a little with the fleet over the MyFc fandango..I certainly have and I now feel a little affinity with them (fleet).....mind you... that would go straight out of the window of course should we ever play them again...devil .... but I do feel that many will always look to and perhaps even go to games at fleet..because of the publicity for MyFc ...

people will move on and what will be will be but fleet will benefit for sure in the long run....smile

Well said Uncs - I have posted similarly on MyFc today - this will not do any harm to the club, I'm sure of that. MyFC will probably evolve into something with which many long-standing fans will feel far more comfortable. Good luck to the Fleet, I will always be wanting to see them succeed.

I didn't know they were censoring posts now !
I've been a little out of touch, tbh i've been trying to convince myself the whole thing isn't just a big con.
I went on for a look and couldn't even work out how to vote because they've changed the site round. That probably says more about me than Myfc though.
If the forums no longer free speech (within reason) then that will be enough reason to keep my hand in my pocket come February.

sadly, he is not on the selection list :-)

But, 3 Pase boys have been added.

Kwesi Appiah , Sam Callendar , Chris Kinnear

Very hard to do this pre season with the trialists involved. It said yesterday that between 15 and 21 would be involved during pre season. The way I see it is, do the team selection the best we can, see what people want, then see how it develops. Saturday was only day 1, it will be interesting to see how the small vote stands up, if Liam gets the say each time etc etc.

I liked the look of 22 Callendar when he made his brief entrance on Sat. The defender knew he was there too.

To be fair Mr Fox. Saturday was not a good day for anyone to shine. So if anyone caught Liam's eye, I think they would have done well. Which in some ways is a shame, as we maybe missing the opportunity to pick up a good player, due to the opposition being a quality unit.

Thats what we thought about Akinde this time last season Stu and in January we had scouts beating a path to our door to watch him.
When Luke came through we could all see that he had some skill but when playing against men he looked a bit lightweight, I don't think Sam is going to have that problem.
The future may not be too far away for young Sam.
