just had a look at oakwood fc site , that says they are playing dorking wanderers next sat!

 

perhaps they are sending two teams to the most popular town in all of England.

I see Wanderers have been putting posters up around Dorking.

Arundel got my interest for a day out..

 

 

Sat 19th July - Oakwood (H - Headley Court)

Tues 22nd July - Bookham (A)

Sat 26th July - Ifield Edwards (A)

Tues 29th July - Arundel (A)

Thurs 31st July - Banstead (A) - Dave Wilson Trophy

Sat 2nd Aug - Final or 3/4 place - Dave Wilson Trophy

Tues 5th Aug - Chipstead (H - Headley Court?)

Some clubs have more than one team TSF, so they may be playing Chipstead.

the club may be playing Chipstead reserves or the Chipstead from Kent,

hopefully the club will clarify this on the psf thread on the website, or bjr might on here.

its chipstead reserves, I guess that reflects Dorkings league status now.

 

 

saturdays fixture isn't against Oakwood first team who play wanderers, is there a game anywhere saturday for Dorking fc?

 

any idea why the club cant play home psfs at Meadowbank, is there that much groundwork going on?

I think you'll find that with the amount of work done on the pitch with the hope to improve the playing surface Both Dorking and Bookham are playing PSF elsewhere. Many clubs do this so nothing to be concered about.

thats good news thanks, i thought it was a bad idea last year to play so many at home so well done all, and thanks bjr if you nudged the webman for us.

 

how many of the games are firsts v firsts (allowing for the nature of friendlies)?

I, as safety Officer was told that anyone walking on Meadowbank pitch with studded boots on was akin to a death sentence until authorisation has been given.
