I definitely know that a revised lease has been offered by M.V.D.C. I believe it is with the Clubs legal-eagles at the moment.

Thanks for the info jr, that sounds encouraging, it would seem that the board has got a lease offer they are relatively happy with and have handed it over for fine print and detail checking.

is the 3 month deadline set in stone?

 

does a signed lease have to be presented to court on a certain day to stop the court intervening?

 

do both parties go back to court if not signed, and the areas of contention are decided by the judge?

(1) Only if there is disagreement. The deadline is now VERY close.

(2) No, if agreeable to both parties.

(3) Basically, if DFC do NOT agree to the terms and conditions of a new lease, we apply to go back to court. I understand that the original length of term of the offered lease was rejected by DFC, hence the delay.

so has the council offered a long (enough) lease now?

 

Have I got it right, if no agreement after 3 months (ie next week!) both parties can agree to carry on negotiating, or either one can go back to court?
