can I ask why the numbers were so 'up n down'( a bit like a lady of the nights under garments) even for home games? there are some big variances on the stats list. By the way, sorry, but it is a very slow news day so thought I would instigate something to talk about.

Everyone will have different view-and as i go to more away games than home, may not be best placed to answer.

 

Ijn my view though-it all became a bit boring.

The inconsistency became boring.

You knew what would happen everygame-elementary defensive errors-in fact -totally embarrassing-and you knew MFC would concede at least three goals and it was just a question whether margate could score four.

Sounds exciting-but after a while-it gets boring.

 

You knew the team was capable of more-but could never perform to that level two games on the trot. (unlike many-i always believe they tried, but it just would not seem to work for them).

we always seemed to lose a game away just before there was a potentially crowd pulling home game and that kept some away

 

There was no empathy for the fans from the club-good supporters froze their nuts off at the coffin end and had reduced shelter at HDP end.A simple recognition of that fact by the club would have helped,and then i believe a few more would have come along-supporters possibly felt a bit unappreciated.

The manager was hardly inspirational-again-tried hard(ish )-but it was a couple of years too early for him as a manager-not his fault that.

 

I guess the real question is:

so whats going to be different this coming season ? mmmmm

 

Personally-i feel the manager has a different 'way' about him.It may equally be his first management job, but you mature alot between 32 (trott) and 38 (BA) and that extra maturity and 'general people experience 'may count for alot .
