I do not think you will see another side like Merstham run away with the title for a while now, Merstham did not do it by simply splashing money out, they had a good consistant side that did well for a few seasons prior, then a couple of additions that made the difference last season, well done Merstham.

Krooner I do not think they were the biggest spenders last season at all, and you should give them more credit, they had a talented set of players that were not demanding more than reasonable expenses.

I gave them enormous credit last season for being the best team and Mick has built that up over a number of seasons. Fully deserved and it matters not a jot who spent the most as Merstham were the best side by a country mile. Full Credit to them.

 

I want at least 2 bites from this thread and I reckon Roland can claim one too
