Well saying that, according to the current 7 signings we have Jackson isn't listed as signed yet.

Glad that Pritchard has signed again though as he was quality at the end of last season when he joined.

I bumped into Jacko during his weekly shop last week and unfortunately his back is still giving him trouble. He's confident that continued work on it will bring him back to full fitness, but it's looking unlikely that he'll be in the pre-season campaign from what he was saying...

Yeah, good news on the signings. As people have said Pritchard is a really good player for us at this level, Ridds gives 100% as ever and Dean Harper would have probably picked-up player of the season was it not for his disciplinary record last season.

Concerned about Beames. When the manager intimates that he is not always 100% switched on it is a bot of a worry. Also has had more clubs that Nick Faldo! Signed with two clubs at once in Hellenic few years back as well.

From what i have seen of beames and ive seen him play lots he is a great keeper, good shot stopper, handles ball well in box, i think hes had less clubs than people think. once we see him play we will see what a good keeper he is.

I think mr Sweetman was refering to Beames's recent hernia op.. Thought he was going to banbury in the s/prem? top signing..

From a journo's point of view - public forums and public website's should still be cited. It is often in the journalist's interest to do so, even if it's only to start relationship building.

STFC could, if it wanted to, accuse the newspaper of plagiarism and infringing on the website's copyright and demand some form of compensation, but the best they could expect is a correction in the next edition and a promise to cite the website in future, if they plan to keep lifting content.

If they continue to do so, without asking permission or citing the website, I would suggest getting a lawyer to send a "cease and desist" letter. That usually scares bad journalists (and their publishers).

Gaz, if you want help on this, let me know.

I have been looking at some of the web-sites from next seasons opposing teams to try and guage how they are progressing in there quest in building a squad.

One site I was most impressed with for team information was Gosport Borough's. Under the news(top stories)and latest news sections they have a list of players names broken down into 3 columns detailing who they have re-signed from last seasons squad, new players brought in, and players that have left the club.

For a quick, easy reference section as to what players are in/out and left the club would this be a possibility for our web-site?.

What was also impressive about Gosport was there current squad count:

15 re-signed from last year, 8 new players and only 1 has left.
