Any news on Barking this season? Also, I heard that John Doyle has gone to Barkingside, is this true?

Silencer I think you will find Bowers will consist of many of the old Tilbury squad who either did not make the cross to East Thurrock with John Lawrence and did not want to remain(or were not required) under Graham Chester.

 

Enfield have lost a few players but I am sure Kevin Lucas will put together a title challenge.

 

I make Romford favourites as they will not only be able to recruit their own players but their ties with Aveley will mean they have access to the players not quite making the team there.

 

I cannot see Barking being much of a threat as they have no budget but being as they have a strong catchment area they may upset a few teams.

Are you the Concord Rangers manager CRFC BOSS? If so congratulations on your promotion last season. I watched a number of your games last season and you were by far the best side I saw. Although I regret I did not see much of Enfield.

We'll have to see. There is a 22 man first team squad training over at Lush Green every Tuesday and Thursday evening plus 20 each for the U18 and U16 squads. Presumably the Millers are doing their own thing on the same evenings.

How do you see your forthcoming season panning out old chap. What (sensible) final placing are you looking for?

We're just looking for a good reasonably successful season. Cup runs and as for final league placing???? After all this is non-league football you know!
