Yep that's correct Alex but these lads will still win these games anyhow, IN STYLE TOO, I would have thought.

Anybody wanting to watch how the beautiful game, should be played, make sure you turn up at noon in 11 days time (Saturday 19th July).

I was looking again at those friendly fixtures, and reckon both the mix and the number is about right.

 

Some teams seem to play too many psf's imo.

 

Particularly this year, it may be more important for the guys to be training and organising away from the 'spotlight'.

If BA can get a system/structure and organisation into these guys-we still have a chance

(although i read with interest the alternative view that these young guys should be given 'free rein' to express themselves and play their natural game without structure )

 

The one thing about the younger guys is that they should be physically fit

 

What would you learn in 7 matches that you would not learn in 5.

 

Its a bit like test driving a car-you know in the first 5 minutes if you like it or not.

 

BA will know after the first two matches the massive extent of his task this year to keep us up.He can and must succeed

Agree Michael re the fitness, BA has said he is not worried about the results in these games he is looking to get their fitness levels up. Mind you from the games I watched last season somehow I don't think that will take long with most of them, full of running, chasing, harrying etc.
