Wasn't there a sonsorship deal done by the Ryman League with a kit manufacturer this season supplying tracksuits/training kits etc

I read that harlow have just signed up with a spanish kit company called Joma.

 

There must be plenty of others out there who want to get involved with MFC

What are the chances that a company is going to sponser a club based on their odds, i think they will prefer to base it on;

 

1. What league we are in

2. Our support base

and 3. how much external interest there is in the club.

Can someone explain to me what actually happens re the purchase of the kit please?

 

I always assumed that we buy the kit from a manufacturer and presumably, based upon the amount of kits we buy in a season, we might get some sort of discount. Obviously if a manufacturer thinks we are a good bet, the bigger the discount and possibly even some form of sponsorship, like any other business.

 

Isn't there a difference between sponsorship and kit supplier?

 

Who we "sign up with" is surely like any other business - what's in it for us.

 

Are Bukta and Umbro still in operation?

Due to a breakdown in price negotiations Margate Football Club will no longer be going with an Errea kit. We apologise to the fans for this, we appreciate your input but we must find the best deal for the Club. We will post more news as soon as a new deal is finalised.

Its probably because of the cost for that ammount of kit,Jaccetts could produce it but would like to be paid for it.

How could Margate Football Club possibly do that with no sponsors no directors wanting to help out?.

Saw the new kit today, it's not fantastic but I'm hoping it'll grow on me. The new manafacture is the Italian Sportswear Macron. They do kits for a few league and non-league teams.
