[Margate Football Club]

Due to a breakdown in price negotiations Margate Football Club will no longer be going with an Errea kit. We apologise to the fans for this, we appreciate your input but we must find the best deal for the Club. We will post more news as soon as a new deal is finalised.

I do hope that they will not have to enter the field of play just wearing jock straps.

I know the winter nights can be cold but surely a shirt shorts and socks is usual kit without the need for a jacket

Well I have seen the new kit and you have all got the manafacturer incorrect. I know someone who will love the away strip and I bet they do not give it to there friend this year but wear it home and away.

they used to make Portsmouths kit up to about a couple of years ago i think. I thought it was going to be Jako this season and was very surprised to see Erea, disapointed we lost them though but i'm hoping we will get Jako.

Its Canterbury Of New Zealand that make Pompey's kit...I remember reading an article about it in FC Business a few months back.

Anyone know why we are no longer using Jaccetts? We have been with them nearly for at least 12 years now.

At a guess i'd say they most likely couldn't supply what is needed. They only have a small factory in Deal, the club is looking for kits, training tops, t-shirts etc right through from the youth teams up to the first team. Thats a hell of a big ask for a a smallish company.
