Posters for the Charlton match

Recommended Posts

..I actually watched the first half of a recent home game at the ground and then went round there to watch the second half of the match on tv with my old man. He wanted to sit in comfort with a G and T and watch so I thought I would keep him company. I always think San Stonebridge looks better on the TV than it does in real life!

He was the only person in there watching the match and in total there were 4 punters and 2 staff before I arrived and added 25% to the customer total.

No tie in now. Separate companies, although we still use the Fleet Leisure facilities for training.

Obviously want to maintain good relations with FL, but would rather think of ways of earning money for the Club rather than what is now a 3rd party smile

Stonbridge road has a bar I know, but promote pre and post match drinks, At Fleet leisure for home games. With a free or a minimal charge for transport to the ground in time for kick off. Then back to Fleet leisure afterwards for a celebratory drink.

They above has been posted while I typed my post. so forget that idea smile

that doesn't quite explain why you should be paying a 100k per annum for a facility worth 20k per annum.....

well if they are david then they are ludicrous figures given to us all when the deal was finalised back in february....one would have hoped that you had done your homework...obviously not..I shall dig the details from the sale document out over the weekend and post it.....but I am most surprised you haven't seen it...grin

mind you if I am wrong then pray tell us what the real figure is and prove me wrong....we are after all members and owners are we not...? smile

oh and by the way...I will continue to ask the questions and for a short while your inability to answer those questions will carry support against the evil UU...but that will not last.....facts david...facts....a visit to stonebridge road is self serving egotistical bollox...and the moonies love it but lets have some MyFc and Ebbs balance sheet facts please....and don't forget I am the same as you...

a member of MyFc...(except you get paid and I pay)

many thanx...grin

First time in my life I've ever had that one levelled at me. I'd like/hope to think that anyone who knows me would contradict that.

Simple fact is, we need as many MyFC members to renew as possible. Probably the most common complaint we have had on that forum is lack of communication. I'm trying to give people who haven't yet, or never will, visit the ground a feel for what it's like there. We need them to feel involved to help retain their interest.

I think I'll stop on that point. Have a good weekend and thank goodness the football is kicking off again.
