He was out of contract and publicily said that it was nothing to do with the Fleet and all to do with geography, his wife to be and living close to family.

I feel for Liam, in that he gave Chris a boost to his flagging career by giving him a trial, seeing his potential and taking him onboard.

Johnny Hollins must be over the moon at snapping up Chris. Anyway. good luck to Chris.

Yeah, I note the local paper is full of it about what a "coup" it was for Hollins, failing to mention there was a reason Chris is signing for Weymouth and it's all to do with his location.

He has been straight and honest in what he has said and gave us one of the best season a man has played in a Fleet Shirt.

 

I just hope that we give him the reception he deserves and the morons dont pipe up.
