The non league matters forum is showing Tokyngton Manor as being in the Middx League for 2010/11 - I assume this is the first team?

 

 

If the Middx League play a total of 30 games in a season then there's a chance if they do join that League they will be able to complete their fixtures

I am surprised that our dear friend Rhodes has been so slow to explain the recent changes to their Wikipedia entry combined with Tokyngton's entry on Mitoo as playing in the Middlesex League for the 2010/2011 season.

I only heard about this on Monday when the Secretary of Feltham called me, I automatically assumed it was the Club's Reserves as the SSML Constitution shows the First Team as playing in Division 1 next season however I believe there has to be three tiers between Reserves and First Team so I'm 'confused of Tunbridge Wells'.

That is only my understanding, however as it stands Mitoo have the Tokyngton side unlabelled as "Reserves" which they would do if it were so and the Middx League Premier is Step 7 while Div 2, SSML is Step 6 so whether you or I are right is neither here nor there. It's definitely not poss to have only one step gap is it?

SSML Div 2 is Step 7 - same as Middx County prem. If TM have chosen to go to a lower division rather than try to get their ground up to scratch by the end of May which was what the SSML required, it is probably more sensible to transfer to the Middx County as the travelling will be a lot less for them. No official word from the league as yet, but I believe there is a meeting tomorrow evening.

HTFCew - Why on earth would Tokyngton Manor want to ply their trade in the Middlesex County League Premier Division next season against the likes of Copland, Sloane, Hounslow Wanderers, Kodak (Harrow), Stonewall and, wait for it, Singh Sabha Slough.

efc, it doesn't really matter what he says, we all know that he is donald ducked and convicted already by his past trolling. Whatever way he tries to twist and turn it won't be anything new.

 

What else is no surprise is that he is now attempting to duck and cover. Spineless really. What he will do is attempt to deflect and divert, it's his civil service training.

Steve - I'm surprised by that post as I thought we were still mates, as I've made clear before I have a lot of time for you as you are a good bloke. As for my involvement with Tokyngton Manor I have more or less severed ties with the Club other than tieing up some loose ends and dotting i's and crossing t's
