Will the prize attract in ten new season ticket holders? If so, there's no detriment to the finances. More than ten and we've done well out of it.

As Gary said if we can attract at least 10 new season ticket holders then the club has broken even, any more (which obviously is the hope) then the club makes money. It's a bold move and will hopefully be seen as a very positive move.

Also, knowing what most of our season ticket holders are like, most of the money will probably find its way back into the club through sponsorships and other means.

A quick question regarding U16 tickets as I've not had to think about this before - at what age are kids charged for the entrance - i.e. would I have to pay to bring a newborn to a match?

Just to clarify, adults are aged 16-64, seniors are 65+ and juniors are 5-15, so any child under the age of 4 gains free admission.

The prize money is a good idea, personally i would have gone for the prize split i.e 10 free season tickets,

Also would like to see under 16 kids for a quid as the price can build up if you have a large family but do fully appreciate that for the next couple of years money is tight for the club.

Well you've got one new season ticket holder in me - will be able to make tuesdays this season so it'll be more than worthwhile me purchasing one. Will be popping the cheque in the post soon (though if the powers that be could delay paying it in until my next pay day I'd be ever so grateful... )
