Castle Point Show Today!

[The Great Eckscape]

Today is the Castle Point Show at Waterside Farm from 11am-4pm. Canvey Island FC will be at this years show, and will be giving away 1000 promotional booklets to help publicise the club. There will also be football challenges for kids to take part in with some of the CIFC squad.

 

So if you're not doing anything today, why not pop along and pay us a visit, and take in the rest of the show.

Was a successful day i thought. did we get rid of all them programmes?

yep we did 1000 programs given out. Today was really good for the club alot of advertisment. It was just a shame about the placement of the pitch!!

Was good to come over today and see the majority of the show taken up by CIFC and its youth teams!

 

The stall stood out with the big flags etc and hopefully everything that was going on promoted the club a bit more

 

Did we have any 'money making' competitions going on? ie

Really pleased with how today went, thanks to everybody who came along.

 

We couldn't charge for anything, but there were loads of kids taking part in football challenges with the players. Thanks to Gaffer for getting all the football equipment and Mini Goose for running the challenges brilliantly.

 

Spoke to a lot of people today who were saying things like "I used to go over there a few years ago but lost interest when we got into the Conference." I hope we impressed these people sufficiently to entice them back to Park Lane at some point next season.

 

Thanks also to everybody who helped give out programmes, stickers, and to help set up the stand.

It seemed nobody wanted my help, so went home and did the posters instead

Really enjoyed it today, especially when Danny Curran got tangled up in the mini goal

I dunno but i have heard he is thinking about suicide and is now writing poetry
