Those letters the club sent out...

Ye know the ones, the ones sent out to all those who bought Wembley tickets, encouraging ye all to buy Season Tickets or mini-tickets etc.. Great idea, yes?

Are we also in agreement that one way to attract 'future' fans is to promote the Junior Fleet scheme - you know, the

Logged into MYFC this evening and noticed they are selling Season Tickets online. However, guess what. No option to buy the Junior Fleet Season Ticket.

Thousands of families took their kids to Wembley, so you have to ask why the Club are not promoting the Junior Fleet Scheme both locally and via the MYFC website. After the success of Wembley and the high price of London football many families may opt to watch football locally - IF ONLY THEY KNEW SUCH A SCHEME EXISTED!!! (apologies for the caps).

Isn't boosting attendances meant to be 1 of MYFC's highest priorities? To do this you need to build a fanbase and these youngsters represent it.

The MYFC AGM is on the 13 July at the Club. Maybe these are the sort of points we should all be raising with the new owners.

Biggest gripe on here since promotion has been the fact that we have not spent enough time and effort on getting the youngsters in the area through the turnstiles. we missed a glorious opportunity after the promotion year, lets hope we don't miss out again.

well done for highlighting the ommission, a full page splash in the locals may do the trick to rectify this.

Hopefully the new board are more open to having youngsters in the ground, my head sank at an open meeting with the old board when this question was raised and one of the post imcumbants replied that having a large amount of teenagers in ground may present us with problems. If we have any hope of progressing we need to be getting these kids into the ground, before they start whisking themselves off to the London clubs.

Its a tall ask but one we must win to progress.

i have always argued to curb the playing budget by 1 member, and use that money to employ someone explicitly to raise attendances, and their pay / bonus should be inexplicably linked to how it goes.

Up the fleet
