I guess we could do with a real live wire that terrifies deffenders and pops up all over the field. he would have to score from set pieces as we are a little short on that now with Hodgie gone.

Somebody who can hold the ball up and play with his back to goal. We've got pace and mobility in attack, but we need someone to provide a bit of physical presence in attack.

If you are meaning striker mould TC then i would have a target man who will win those headers for others to feed on but be mobile with it for chasing down oppo - "Defending starts from the front" i remember hearing a well known manager once say.

Well, that depends on the ref Keith. If certain players can still be on the pitch after totally pole axing our players for the rest of the season and STILL be on the pitch, why can't ours.

 

Oh...and I want to see "mad eye"...If the player gives the defenders "psycho mad eye" they may well take the option to let him through with out challenging for the ball...thus, no problem.

Shaun Welford at Dover is an example of the type of player we should be looking for imo.
