Work at the Club

 

Good turn out last weekend and the work continues this Saturday from 10am.

 

Bring paint brushes, rollers/trays, etc.

 

New faces are very welcome!

Good to see you at the club last week Moe.

Was that Gazza behind the goal area? I did shout over to him but he was rather busy.

 

As you say nice turn out and the weather helped, But to be honest i thought we would have had a lot more than the ones that did turn out.

So come on you Blues Fans get your rollers & brushes out and lets paint the Town Blue.

We had a giggle couple weeks back ! Picture the scene....Tony Tash and me - Me up a ladder and Tony holding it...Anyway, we finished our task and there was me covered in paint and Tash nice and clean...Next thing he steps back and puts his foot into the tray of paint ! Out came the "Oh look at this" - "what's going on" -

 

I gets home and look in the mirror and i look as though i have painted my mouth !

 

Plenty of giggles along the way folks....Come on down as Dusty Bin programme used to say !

Yes that was me but without my glasses. We did wave but I asked the Mrs. "Who the hell was that?"...

I would agree BB, we need loads more people to get down the club and help out. We've started earlier to get things done but it means bugger all if we don't get at least 10 people down the club this weekend, armed with your DIY assesories...

...of course, Mrs. C and myself won't be able to make it as we're off on our hols but you can rest assured, we will be commiting to a full weekend to help finsih off when we're back.

Keith.P had more whitewash on himself than some of the walls did.

 

I was gutted i could not spend a little more time but maybe next week for more Blue on Blue.

Despite the unfriendly weather it was a decent turn out today, including some welcome new faces from the ladies team.
