After the triumph of last season, head coach Liam Daish now faces higher expectations than ever. But a couple of new faces in the boardroom and a bit of extra cash in the playing budget should help.

 

It was one of the funnier moments of last season: as thousands of Fleet fans congregated in front of the Gravesend Civic Centre to salute their Wembley heroes, up on the balcony, surrounded by the players, Councillor Ken Jones, Mayor of Gravesham, introduced the head coach.
