HelenC
I think there is something strange going on with the vote for Player of the Season this time. Last time I looked, Castle was winning by some gross amount and now suddenly Martin has won! Been moderating it Rob? Personally, not choice though.
Rob_the_Saint
Hi Helen I had to take out a lot of duplicate votes, somebody had obviously worked out how to cheat the system - there's always one.
HelenC
Thought it may have been! I dont know. Some people!
Claire!
By the way, just because Simon has won, please don't assume that i have been voting again and again for him! I voted just once, and once only! This just porves that other people think that he deserves this award.
GHA EFM
Guilty conscience? Watch that one, Rob.
EFM The Firm, The Voice
I should imagine the only person to give multiple votes to Steve Castle was either Steve Castle or maybe John Gibson!
Claire!
Quote: Guilty conscience? Watch that one, Rob. I havn't got a guilty concience GHA! People are automatically going to think that i have voted more than once to get Simon to win. I voted only once, and i can't even remeber if i did vote for him - i think i actually voted for Greg - so there you go.
AFF
Have you ever heard of the Suffragettes, C.Hart? They campaigned for 'Votes For Women'. Successfully, as it turned out. The vote. Democracy. Freedom etc. And you "can't even remeber" the player for whom you voted? Give it much thought, did you? No wonder Simon won the thing.
Colin Zeal EFM
I voted for Richard Evans. And I told him so on Wednesday.

I was mearly saying that I had not voted more than once to make sure Simon won, as i can imagine people stating that it wouldn't a fare vote otherwise. Just for your information, and other readers information too, i can remember who i voted for, and as far as i can remember, the way in which we vote is supposed to be secret. Correct me if i'm wrong. So i have suggested that i can't remember if i voted for Simon, and i think I have voted for Greg. Infact, i have voted for neither of them. I am keeping my vote a secret. I may not have voted at all. I could have been too late to vote. If Simon won, it's because other people have obviously voted for him and they don't all share the same views as other's.
AFF
Hi C.Hart. Nasty? Never. So when you said in your earlier posting that you couldn't remember, you were, shall we say, being economical with the truth? Your last posting is a trifle confusing, forgive my limited intelligence. I think you are saying that you might have voted or you might not, and if you did, you're keeping your vote a secret. I was concerned for you, C.Hart, that perhaps you can't remember whether or not you voted. I'm now re-assured. One last one for you, C. Have you ever heard the expression "Honest John Bull does't need secrecy to hide his [in your case, 'her', of course] views"?
Claire!
Aff, To put it in a nut-shell, i am saying that i do remember who i voted for, and the only reason i said that i couldn't remeber who I voted for, was to be "economical" with the truth. I am trying to stop people automatically thinking that i had voted for Simon (just because i think he is great) and that i voted more than once for him to win. I have only voted once, and i am not saying who i voted for. But what does it matter? Like i have said, Simon has won because the majority of people have voted for him to win. So, for Simon's, the other players sakes' and anyone else's sake, the vote is fare. Simon can collect his award knowing that people have voted for him because they think he is a good player and that he truly deserves to win. Oh, and no, i havn't heard of the John Bull thing, should i have?

GHA EFM
Just to reassure everyone, I didn't vote more than 42 times for Gary Ansell. Wink wink nudge nudge. If you know what I mean. C.Hart. In your original 'guilty conscience' post, you said that you didn't vote for Simon Martin, even though you like him loads. Now. Let us say that you (C.Hart) dislike Mr. X. He called you a rude word once, and so you really hate him. Mr. X. then dies in a suspicious drive-by shooting incident. Do you (C.Hart) immediately go to the police and say 'Oh, by the way, it wasn't me that killed Mr. X.' ??

GHA EFM
Confusing matters? Who's confused? Zeal seems to know what I'm talking about. I know what I'm talking about. AFF
I'm confused. I tried to vote for Gary Crawshaw but the thing came up saying that I had already voted, which was not the case. I couldn't be bothered to raise the matter with those nice moderator chaps in view of their ineptitude over my bold message title things. [still bold, by the way.] Now. If I knew how to do it, I would have voted for Gary more than once, simply to avoid the miscarriage of justice what we have seen with Simon winning the thing. So. I suggest that the Ferrari is awarded to Garry Crawshaw and we will have no more said about it.
