Brazil were awful, Argentina were by far the better team. Fair enough Brazil were missing Ronaldinho and Kaka but Brazil just didn't create anything.

 

Brazil haven't lost at home since 54BC or something.

 

The team were boo'd off, Dunga was abused by the fans and Brazil are now fourth, four points off top spot, in the Qualifying group, although South America is only one league with the top four going through and the fifth placed team playing off against the winner of the Oceania section. The Oceania section is different this time around as Australia are now in the Asia Qualification and will play China on Sunday. I think I'll have that one.

 

Brazil are still favourites to win the world cup, England are third favourites at to 10/1.

 

Tip of the day, Yeats in the Gold Cup.

Australia already qualified for next round so is resting better players(fans who have already bought tickets are screaming)against a winless China.

Being played in Oz so I'd probably leantowards the Home team but it will be interesting.

Takeover Target should clean up at Ascot....he is the favourite but his trainer is "extremely confident".

Crap odds on EUFC to take out the Blue Square...50's would be more like it.

Rod Pampling is good value(30/1) in the Travellers Open in the US tonight.

Martin Kaymer, up and coming German is good value (25/1) in the BMW staring Germany tonight.

Not always.

Holland v Portugal was what I worked out from the games once I knew them.

If I had more nerve I would have gone for Spain v Croatia as that is the final I want to see.

Italy won't win today, they're missing Guttuso and Pirlo through suspension.

 

Some might put Spain as the underdogs anyway. Italy started poorly and came second in the group, as all the Semi-Finalists have done so far. Plus Italy have a history of doing this, in the World Cup two years ago, which they won, they waited until the final game to qualify for the next stage and even that was close. Even then Australia gave them a cracking game and only lost due to the usual cheating Italians, they never crush teams, just do enough. They beat Germany in the Semi's in the best game in the tournament.

 

What a fantastic tournament it has been though, absolutely cracking, I think it's because England are not there, the pressure's off.

Italy vs Spain - wot a crap game.. Who's gonna sign Shaven [****!!****] though?? If I (erergie) get rid of Ronaldo..let him go to the lower leagues (Spain), 'cos he won't be winning anything meaningful there, for a while. Sign some great palyers with the, huge, profit...
