Jimmy Quinn Sacked by Cambridge - Daish linked

Maybe gazza, or big ron, unless they are still with kettering?

Don't know what Daish will decide. Who knows how he really feels about MyFC as well. Any bad comment/disagreement and he could have been voted out as the first order of business months ago...

The problem is that the MyFC bonkers brigade will probably see liam going as a way for them to vote in a big name. How many of them will have the understanding of the non league game to identify the next up and coming manager? The short list will probably be headed by Avram Grant! conf

My contact at the CUFC Trust has said that pretty much anyone who has had a previous link to their Club is in the frame with no definite front-runner as yet.

I reckon that LD feels that if he moves on it should be to an established FL side and not simply to another contender for promotion. This is afterall a very difficult league to escape from.

Unfortunately, I feel that if LD were to leave it would strengthen the PTT faction to re-double their efforts to implement their unworkable ideas. The job, if it became vacant, would be likely to attract mostly inexperienced would-be "head coaches" rather than experienced managers. Who, as others have said, would want the aggravation?

If it is, we could ask him if it's the end of the beginning of myfc, or the beginning of their end smile

I'm not sure you can read too much into that - Liam has always been impeccably diplomatic over these things. Keeps things close to his chest, and always says the "right" things, such as his demeanour towards the MYFC takeover and PTT.

Having said that , Cambridge have offloaded a fair proportion of their squad - so any new manager would be starting from virtually the beginning again, and rebuilding their own team.

Hang on, that sounds like an ideal job for Liam & Alan.
