Jimmy Quinn Sacked by Cambridge - Daish linked

After our success at Wembley and the way the squad has been built over the 'Daish' era, I personally cannot see him/them leaving for another team anytime soon, let alone a team in the BSP.

My view on the situation anyway, I really do hope they both stay, we really are on the up.

uhmm... back to the club where they were idolized .. don't have to be subject to 30000 trying to interfere with their team choice .. a much larger club with probably higher pay scale .. twice as much money to spend on new players .. difficult!!!

The aborted Scottish pre-season Tour, where he was allegedly the instigator of the Tour(according to a MyFC member!), then the arrogant person who caused the Tour cancellation(according to the same MyFC member!)? There is one for a start!

A lot depends on how Liam really feels about the situation at the club - it's very easy to say one thing but know in your heart that it really isn't the road you want to go down, then if someone comes along with what could be a very good offer, it just might be tempting enough to jump....

A lot will depend on how Liam gets on with DD and JM. He clearly had a good working relationship with the old board, he may go down the line of suck it and see. If he thinks PTT is going to take awaytoo much of his input into the team then he may well consider Cambridge (where he still respected) a sound career move.

We could always replace him with a random number generating computer to help the 30,000 PTT. ERNIE springs to mind.

yeah why give up being the head coach, when you can become the manager at another team, who will be pushing for league football this season.

Lets hope Liam and Alan stay because they know the fleet fans appreciate what they have done for them prior to the takeover.

Let's just say some things that were happening behind the scenes weren't 'proper'.

Are they likely to say that he has been literally up a trainee's backside?

No, worse.

Think Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp etc etc..

ChrisVesseyCUFC is Cambridge's webmaster.

That is precisely the danger. If Daish and Kimble were to walk and quite frankly who the hell would blame them, who on earth would takeover, who on earth would want to takeover?

Being answerable to 30,000 muppets, no control over the team selection, playing staff, etc. etc. I for one would not want the job and to be perfectly honest I cannot see why anyone, certainly anyone with any experience of managing a professional football club, would even contemplate applying for the role.
