Obviously lacking in 'social graces' Septimus - shame on you, I believe FootballMan had no complaints re his welcome at Biggleswade Town the other night grin

I was so engrossed in the quality of the football being played that I failed to notice anything or anyone outside the field of play biggrin1

I thought 'His Dad' was busy with his Soccer School in Marbella !
Still it's good to see a decisions been made & here's hoping they get things back on track. Good Luck to them !

Yes that's right, Pablo Ardiles has been confirmed as the new Hertford Town supremo:

Greg Dyke - I beg to differ actually, the Hertford Town job is potentially huge as the Club is a sleeping giant, anyone who comes in to stop the rot and put them back on an even keel will be regarded as a messiah and hopefully Pablo Ardiles is that man.

I think the whole of football hopes Pablo is indeed "that man" but you must admit, even with your rose tinted glasses, that the job is not an easy one at the moment, hence the phrase "the poisoned chalice"

Not even the combined talents of Hector Varelarenga and Clement Toekneel will be able to lift HTFC this season.

I hope the Hertingfordbury park faithful are, ....er.... faithful

I am sure this will be all over the Hertfordshire Mercury like a rash

Greg,

Hertford's objective this season is to finish in the top half.

Despite the disastrous start to the season , it's still only

October , so with the new manager and MC back as the chairman,

this seems realistic.

If the funding & right people get involved there is no reason why Hertford can't also rise up the pyramid.

Greg Dyke - Yes as Syd Lexic already pointed out that's certainly food for thought but then, as you well know, one season can be a lifetime in football let alone some twenty years and Stevenage Borough deserve to be where they are today.

Horace - You and HTFCew must be deeply regretting your rash decision to sever ties with Hertford Town as it looks like they are on the way back under Pablo Ardiles leadership. He is all over the Non League paper like a rash with his dad, who attended Saturday's 2-0 win over Aylesbury Vale, saying that he will cheer the Club on as well as pass on his knowledge to his son, I expect Ossie will also be able to attract new investment to the Club in due course.

JK Rowling put her fantastic imagination to outstandingly good use in creating Harry Potter. You have it in you to have done something similar. What a terrible missed opportunity for you and your family!
