at the ryman banquet and ball last evening about the appointment of JM as chairman and much questioning about the identity of DD....I took the opportunity to speak to my favourite editor in chief of a certain NL paper and point out that DD was a bit of a surprise but welcomed generally by all parties...

 

so DD.....get yur kit out...you're about to get a fone call and become famous...

Edit: I did a phone interview with the NLD last week. But I tend to be pretty boring, then they asked for a photo, so that almost guarantees nothing will appear in print

all positive david and I did my bit..the general concensus was what you would expect vis the concept but positive about JM and indeed yourself nonetheless...(the view being that a non biased outsiders mind and viewpoint was more healthy than some old embittered time served soak like me and others) I must have had far to much to drink as nette reminded me this morning that I was actually defending the concept per se....!!!
