Im glad you enjoyed it jeff.Ive just got back from the game at beckenham, where kent gave essex a good beating,Denley was superb, hitting 91 runs including 5 sixes .I also spotted a fleet shirt, who was the young man wearing it?.Just for the record,master brew was the flavour of the day.

Joe D is a fabulous talent, probably the best young Kent batsman since Bob Woolmer, already a technically better batter than Cook, a better fielder and can bowl genuine leggies.

Cannot see him playing too much more for Kent though, if his development continues at this rate he will surely earn a central contract for England within a year.

thank god theres cricket what a great match up at beckenham, had fun getting up there with no trains running from bromley to beckenham junction had to get a bus!!

 

but great performance over the eagles from across the bridge, JD was wicked thought he was going to get 6 6's.

I went to Kent vs. Middlesex on Friday night. Rain affected game (turned into Eight8!), but a very thrilling game nonetheless.
