Building work starts at DFC??

Recommended Posts

Yes - ML Construction are sponsors.

Yes - They are starting renovations in the club-house.

Yes - DFC are in the process of issuing a Football Development Plan which will set out in some detail the values and aims of Dorking Football Club as it seeks to operate as a modern vibrant club. DFC have much discussion internally in the Club to finalise our submission in support of our FA Charter Standard application but will aim to finish this and send off to the Surrey County FA development department by the end of the month for their feedback and input.

I have seen the draft Development Plan in its draft state, and I will keep those interested up to speed.

BJR.

At present it's expected to be Div 1 but until its confirmed any thing can happen.

Justin Skinner is in the local rag as being the new coach at Dorking Wanderers.

Good to see the councils action has spurred DFC Ltd into action.

We were waiting to get our lease renewed ahead of doing any major modernisation, as why would we want to do any major work before that ?

Given that the Club House is major source of income that obviously has to come first.

I think you will find that after the result of the court-case, it was M.V.D.C. that were suddenly spurred into action.

They were only given three months, and the clock is ticking !

Now, that's the best report we've had from you, Dave.

Incidently, The Bottle-Bank/Multi-Bee-Hive/MVDC Headquarters IS due to be sold.

M.V.H.Association is moving out of Pippbrook shortly, and moving to the old Redland building near Dorking North Station.

I see our local refereeing Councillor is getting plenty of photo opportunities in the local press, AND he's wearing a suit and tie ! bolt

could you clarify something bjr?

"WE were waiting to get OUR lease renewed"

are you using the "we" in football supporting terms "WE won the cup"?

Or are you more involved at the club?

Are your posts purely independent or do they sometimes reflect/state the views of the club?
