This is taken from T&C's Section A 7(ii)

 

7

ii. for the Operator to appoint the initial directors of the club and any replacement directors and for the Operator to agree on their initial remuneration by the football club;

 

 

Taken from T&C's Section B 18

 

18.for the Operator to appoint and retain a director at the football club for the purposes of ensuring that the instructions of Members are being carried out;

well it is relevant....did they advertise the post....were candidates vetted by the members...why weren't you and I asked busta?...why wasn't harry?...why wasn't darter? (were any women interviewed...could we have a sexual discrimation case pending?...were there any ethnic minority candidates interviewd...if not why not and could there be a referral to the race relations board...? (that could seriously damge the budget)

democracy is okay as long as you don't give it to the people....

At the moment it looks to a outsider (meee) as if a little team of people, are pulling the strings They then get the punter to vote on minor issues, and word things in such a way that the vote goes in there favour, so that things to go the way they have decided they should

I wouldn't disagree with this interpretation at all! I tend to feel the same.

it was a sensible vote as it goes sal....had it been me making the decision with the finances as they are I would have given liam 12k and told him to consolodate mid table...anything else would have been a bonus and some good PR could have milked the trophy win for another season...grin

But... less than 20% of MyFC could be ar$ed to vote in this. What does it need to get them interested?

 

If less than 6,000 can be bothered to join in what is an extremely important vote - how many are going to click the "Yes" button when the question is "Do you want to hand over another

Is it just "pick the team" tho?

I half recollect someone posting here the numbers that were bothering to take part in early trials of this, and who bothered to watch the games via MyFC downloads, and this was also pretty low.

 

Maybe, if the MyFC model is a good one, but has limited appeal - one option would be to increase the membership fee so that only those who really WANTED to take part would sign up? Not a huge increase,
