We are hoping to start work parties on Sat 14th June at Beaconsfield SYOB ground , nothing major ! we have some jobs to help with if you can spare some time down at the club , you must all agree its been a pleasure to be at Beaconsfield and any thing we can help with is appreciated not just by the Slough Management but also by all our friends at Beaconsfield,

so starting on saturday 14th June - work parties begin...so if you can spare a few hours we have a few tasked to deal with ! Also a Slough Job to paint the 2 potacabins ...paint and supplies will of course be provided.

I will be there on Sat 14th June from 9-30am to list and see what jobs need doing...

many thanks in advance

Those of you that are willing to help on sat 14th June .please can you park on the roadway just outside the ground as Beaconsfield are re modelling the car park, make more hard standing and extending the area inside the gates, also they are making provisions to have the entrance to the field (overflow car park) tarmaced to give a firmer entrance in wet weather , this should really help...

cheers chris s..... c u there..about 9-30 on wards...

thanks....on behalf of the clubs !

Ground work update :

Thanks again for a good turnout again on sat 28th June -

The Club shop has now got a brother ! We moved the green shed from the Garden area and will now be used for STSA/STST memberships and maybe old programme sales - Sue will have more room to display goods in the present club shop.

The new shed will also be used by Beaconsfield SYOB if they need to on match days! all the keep fit equipment has also been moved into the green shed ! from the main corridor.

A specail tahnks to SUE AIDEN PHIL AND LYNN & Keith Smith- they started painting and clearing the weeds -around the path areas ..starting to look tidy...

The pitch is desperate for some rain..while it looks less bumpby it really could do with some good rain...the sprinklers just dont reach all parts of the pitch ...

Kay sorry if i bored you on Saturday ...but I could not see you doing that thankless task on your own...Alfie tks for your help too...

The car park work came to a halt last week and a mains power cable was broken by the contractors - this has now been fixed and work can proceed to make the area bigger and with less pot holes...

Beaconsfield have and are trying to raise money to build a toilet block which will be inside the ground - planning permission has been given and with a will and a way maybe this work could begin in the next few months...This then would elivate the problem of the club house toliets being only used after kick off time..

Thanks to all those not mentioned this week ...see you soon...

and thanks from paul and all at Beaconsfield SYOB ...and thanks from STFC

Well done to everyone who has been turning up to help out, unfortunately with various things going on including my graduation on Saturday I have been unable to help out this year, and I am camping next week, but maybe the week after (12th?) I will be able to get down there if there is anything left to do by then.
