... may well be one of the countries finest stand-up comics, but he proved last night he knows eff all about non league football.

 

He was at The Orchard last night, and was involved in some chat with the audience. He asked one guy what he did for a living, and the reply was "Played football". Jimmy Carr asked who for, and the loud reply was "Ebbsfleet United"... Cue some muffled cheers from the audience, but Jimmy didn't have a clue!

 

Apart from that, was a good show!

Saw Jimk Davidson there the other week. The warm up was ok , but Jim wasnt great. More of a memoirs sort of thing.

 

Was a freebie as the guy who got me a ticket , I took to Wembley.

hmmmmmm, interesting, the only 18yr olds(maskell,akinde and stubbs) with us were not at the show apparently.............obviously a local hanger-on desperate to be associated with the teams success.
