Didn't think at the time I should have had a fiver on those two being the finalists. Too late now.Anyway am going to sit back now & see how things pan out.
Its only a bit of fun for me,unless those Germans win of course.

Well I missed out on the 11/1 for these two to be in the final.You all chose well by the way.
Will I miss out on the final day with my single bet on Spain? Will those Germans manage to sneak a victory once again & deprive me or will the team of the tournament come out on top. Will Spain choke once again on the big stage tonight.?
If it goes to a penalty shoot out those Germans apparently haven't lost a shoot out since 1982.In fact they haven't missed a penalty since then,so I read yesterday.

Thank God its all over ,and the footballing world can now concentrate wholeheartedly on the only proper football out there at the Ryman Premiership

All credit, at least according to the commentators, to Michel Platini for making the presentation on a decent stage, with the players climbing the steps to receive the trophy.

 

Too many occasions in the past few years (most notably since the old Wembley) have we seen (just about) those ridiculous little platforms stuck on the pitch as an afterthought.

 

It is after all a presentation and it is about presentation.
