It all started when My girlfriend and her son moved to the area early last year,the club changed their name, this was not good to an 11 yr old, and then the only player at the time he had taken a shine to was sodjie left to pastures new too.he changed his mind just when it was being made up and decided he didnt like us any more.i was gutted, but then the cup run happened and after he enjoyed a brilliant day out at wembley he has decided he wants to now come to the games next season.hopefully this time to stay....! Now this is where the club have scored a winning goal in its public relations.i went down the club to buy him a season ticket for next season and spoke to our very lovely rachel. the club gave him a signed birthday card by all the players and that came with a promise for him to choose a game next year maybe york city to meet sodjie in the tunnel and have a photo taken with him, or any other player of his choice. He has taken a shine to macca and sasha at the moment.This i know he will be well made up for, his wembley flag and shirt already are hanging in his bedroom, so i cant wait to see his face in the morning when he opens his b day card from the club.....well done to rachel and many thanks from me the girlfriend and one soon to be very happy little 12 yr old.keep up this kind of work and kids from all over gravesham will be hooked....
