yes there will be 10 essex teams in the ryman premier next season if heybridge stay up.that means 81 essex derbies,the 2 newcomers are the mighty urchins from hornchurch and chelmsford who will be swiching from the dr martens because no ryman team got relegated.

Not necassarily because Chelmsford will have their own ground by December.

Very true, Keon but I reckon Chelmsford could be an early fxture for us next season if it all comes off for them.

Too many Essex Derby's is our downfall, I've beliveved this for ages. Look at Dagenham, Farnborough, Gravesend, and Aldershot - they had very few local derby's when they won the league. We have loads of them, which is a disadvantage cos they always seem to raise their game.
