Ebbsfleet stadium

My 11 year old grandaughter tells me shes going on a school trip tomorrow morning, to ebbsfleet stadium.I will be interested to know what she thinks of the place.At least the local interest is still there,she sounds quite excited and wants to wear her wembley shirt.

Are you sure its Ebbsfleet 'stadium' and not Ebbsfleet 'Station'. Stonebridge Road seems like a strange place for a School trip.

The title got me all excited for a moment there. Cause I thought something had been announced about the plans for the new stadium. Man I am having a gullible day today.

I think the club have been working on getting after school learning clubs set up at the ground for a while now. Looks like may be starting to kick in.

Would have loved it as a kid to have a free reign around the directors lounge and ground of an evening.

Theres only one grandaughter going tomorrow,but ive got 3 more who went to wembley and im sure theyre be around on the 13th.

The school trip is more than likely one of the ground tours that I am running in conjunction with KCC. They have been very successful in the past, and I'm continuing to do them with some of the local schools over the close season.

She enjoyed her trip to the ebbsfleet stadium,although she wasnt overley impressed with the state of it.The trip included the boardroom, which is somewhere that ive not seen.The children were told about the preperation and diets the players use before and after games,a brief history of the club,they were also given a programme from last season and lastly a junior fleet membership form.I thought they might have had a little light refreshment,but they didnt.Now she wants to go to some games,ive told her it wont be like wembley, no mexican waves, she understands,but still wants to go.Fleetbabe,it looks like its working.ps.i asked her who her fav player was,sasha she replied,because hes funny! oh dear.
