At least Wiles can say he's gone to a club in the BSS. Not to get a player from the league below who is apparently joining another club in our division has to be a bit of a disappointment.

 

Looking forward to some positive news later in the week hopefully.

There is plenty of time to go, jl. Jason and Grant have done quite a lot of work and these things will be sorted out well before the pre season...patience. Everything comes to those who wait...

Shame we didn't get Wiles as he is exactly the sort of player we need imho (incidentally I see Patterson has made another raid on Swifts for Sean Marks). Not sure about Butterworth, it's one thing to make an impact in a weak division like Div1N, quite another to make the step up... we shall see how he gets on.

 

Be interesting to see who we go for now... I have half a hunch on a candidate for CB (based almost entirely on guesswork) but I'm usually wrong on these sorts of things!

I think Jason and Grant are on a mission. They don't want to have a repeat of last season and having spoken to both, they want to win the league or at least promotion.

Another interview with JB on the Gazette website today. We have a new Centre Half who should be signing tomorow, and he's also "talking" with another winger. He also seemed keen not to write off the possibility of BWG turning out for us at the start of the season, presuming he's not moved on to better things.

 

Apparantly Hodgeys' situation has not yet been the subject of discussions between the club and the player.
