Based on his superb performance for margate against harrow-that is a blow for us.

 

That was the only time in the whole of last season our defence looked in control.

A much bigger blow than losing JJ or Mckimm imo

 

How did we let that one happen.

Not the biggest secret in Thanet,think it was on cards for much of last year.Did play very well at Harrow but was not biggest test ever for a defender.Still think Louis and Dan are the better prospects as they are younger and yet far more experienced.Good luck to him.

Harrow was only one game admittedly-and agree-not the toughest of opposition, but Eastwood really took control in the game,organised defence, won every header.Best game i've seen any Margate defender have all season.Maybe he played above himself in that game-but if that is his normal game-a huge loss for margate.

Well so Eastwood has gone to help rams get promotion which I think he will do. Mind you will he still be able to play in the Sunday League. It's a bit sad though when all we have to crow about is their reserves getting relegated. The fact of the matter is at the moment we are second best, hopefully not for long but we are!

Joseba, Dover did not know Sam Jones was playing Sunday football when they signed him, he failed to mention it.

Eastwood and Brett Kinch have probably been influenced by Paul Jeffcoat of Birchington USC as he has much to do with Ramsgate FC. I doubt both Kinch and Eastwood will be playing Sunday football next year. I'm really dissapointed in this as I felt that Eastwood would be at Margate and IMO he's better than Smith. On the other hand I suspect Ramsgate will be relying on our Youth system now as the havn't got one. It seems lawson couldn't agree with the Youth System set up of something like that! Also Heath is as good as Eastwood.

Ramsgate fc do have a youth system with teams entered in U13s 14s 15s 16s and 18s in the Kent league season 08/09
