Paul McCarthy was 45th in their top 50 Non League defenders. Can't believe he was not higher in that list. Can't believe even more that a Dartford defender was voted 7 places above him. And even more amazing that Sacha never even got a mention.

 

And on another note Bostwick was 12th.

Sacha should have been in there! I can't believe that there are 50 better non-league defenders than him.

Didn't see the article (holiday), for his leadership display at Wembley I would have put him in the top 10...was all this decided by a readers vote? Who came out as the Number 1 defender?

Nah it was not decided by the readers vote. And Exeter City's Matt Taylor won it.

Top Teams Syndrome Was there a poll of top Strikers? Big John has too be in there

Yeah I think they did one last week and Big John was in it. He was 11th and I think the top 10 was more or less from the exact same teams as the defenders where with a few exceptions of course cause Jon Shaw came 1st.
