The Gravesham Big Day Out.

Recommended Posts

The following article was published on myfc by a local member and I was wondering if anybody on here might be interested in taking part ?.

====

Over the weekend of the 5th/6th of July, 2 events are taking place in the Gravesend & Northfleet area. The Northfleet Carnival and The Gravesend BIG DAY OUT (weekend) .

The Carnival involves floats (lorries) going through the town, while the Big Day Out features stalls and much more. The Big day out attracted over 20,000 people last year.

It has been suggested on the forum as to if it is feasible for Ebbsfleet Utd / MYFC to be represented at either or both of these events. One member commented,

There must be plans made already, assuming someone at the club has any kind of marketing expertise.

A float would be a good visual presence. Fixture lists could be handed out, as well as little trinkets which we could afford to hand out. Maybe some players on board?

We must make an effort for the Big Day Out. I've seen stalls there in previous years- this year, we could have the FA Trophy on display, season-ticket application forms, signing sessions with the players, a 'big-screen' replaying some of last years' highlights, the new kits on display, information on MyFC, and something on away travel. A bit of a diversion- Kenny's away travel idea. If given thought now, the Big Day Out could be the perfect venue to raise interest and awareness about travelling to away games.

See, Unc, I told you they were good ideas!!! This is why I take no notice of critism in any way, shape or form from anyone and carry on regardless. I took the ideas fron this site (which I ackowledged) and got the ball rolling on MYFC. and, voila! its happening. By the way, hows the recruiting for your European roadkill trip going? Harleys. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
